VISITORS

Q: Do you have a Children’s Ministry?
A: Yes, Children’s Ministry is located on the north side of the building.

Q: What is the age range for your Children’s Ministry?
A: We minister to children from the age of birth to 11 years of age.

Q: Can my older child stay in the classroom with my younger child?
A: We encourage each child to attend their age appropriate class. However, parents are welcomed to sit in their child’s classroom to help them adjust.

Q: How will the teacher identify my child’s belongings?
A: You may request extra labels at the check-in station for all items such as: bottles, cups, blankets, etc.

Q: Can my child check him/herself in and out for services?
A: For the safety of all children we require all children be checked in and picked up by an adult that is 18 years of age or older.


REGULAR ATTENDEES

Q: Can my older child stay in the classroom with my younger child?

BABY DEDICATIONS

Q: Where do I pick up my Baby Dedication Certificate?
A: You may pick up your certificate at the Children’s Ministry Check-In station located in the Family Life Center.

Q: How can I receive a picture of my child’s Baby Dedication?
A: We allow each family member to arrange for a designated person to take a picture of their child during Baby Dedication.

Q: Why can’t I find my child’s Baby Dedication Certificate?
A: Certificates are only made available upon request and after the completed document has been submitted to the office.

Q: Do you have an elevator in the Children’s Ministry for the disabled or elders to use?
A: Yes, we have an elevator that can accommodate the disabled and elders.

Q: Can my child check him/herself in and out for services?

NEW REGISTRATIONS

Q: How do I register my family into children’s church?
A: Please obtain a registration card from the check-in station and return completed cards to a check-in attendant.

Q: After I complete a new registration card, how long will it take for my child to be entered into the system?
A: Please allow 2-3 weeks for new families to be entered into the system. Due to high volumes of registrations completed, on rare occasions you may experience a longer wait.


HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Q: How can I volunteer in the Children’s Ministry?
A: To begin your process you must: complete a Potter’s World Volunteer Application here, sign and return to one of our children’s workers. Learn about more opportunities to volunteer here.

Q: What are the requirements to become a volunteer?
A: Must be 18 years of age or older, a member of The Potter’s House of Denver, complete and pass a background check, and meet with the Children’s Ministry pastor.
